The bill (Reg. No. 2750) amends the applicable Law on protection of rights for secret inventions and useful models to harmonize it with the Law "On State Secret."
Under the bill, during the preliminary examination, the application which does not contain the proposal of the applicant to treat the invention (useful model) as a state secret is scrutinized on the availability of information which may be treated as a state secret under the Code of Information forming State Secret, compiled and published in the official editions by the Security Service of Ukraine on the basis of decisions of the state experts on classified information and the Law "On State Secret."
